Burn Out Rx
Burnout is not always a sign that you need to become better at managing everything. Sometimes, it is information. Persistent frustration, tension, or difficulty showing up as yourself may reveal where you are carrying too much or moving out of alignment with what matters to you. The body often recognizes this disconnect before the mind can explain it, communicating through guarded breath, physical tension, fatigue, or a sense of feeling stuck.
Something as simple as a 15-minute meditation that pairs reflection with gentle movement can help reveal spaces of tension. As the body gradually moves from a protected shape toward a more open one, movement invites you to notice what you have been carrying, what you may be holding back, and what need exists beneath the frustration. The intention is not to force relaxation or solve your life in a single practice. It is to create enough space to hear your own voice again.
Through movement, breath, and stillness, you are invited to identify one honest next step. It may be asking for support, setting a boundary, making room for something meaningful, or simply acknowledging that your current way of moving through life is no longer sustainable. “Burn Out Rx” is one small movement meditation that is part of a new project I am creating to help people deepen the connection between their mental and physical selves through movement, reflection, and intentional practice. If you are curious about exploring this connection alongside me, submit your email below to follow the project as it develops and be among the first invited to experience it!
